The Amazing Way to Make Coffee Without a Pot

December 13, 2016 by Cherie Leave a Comment

I’m a mom and I need coffee to survive. Unfortunately for me (and those that have to deal with me sans coffee), our wonderful Ninja Coffee Bar went on the fritz last week. I felt bad for the customer service people at Ninja as they have to deal with those who are not only upset about their product, but who also haven’t had any coffee for the day. However, they were wonderful, and since the coffee bar was still under warranty, they are sending me a brand new one. Whoo hoo! Thank God for great customer service.

However, it has not yet arrived, and I cannot head out for coffee each morning- or the four other times a day I that need it.  So instead, I figured out a way to do it on my own.

The quick amazing way to make coffee on your own, without a pot.

  1. Heat water + coffee grinds in a microwave safe cup (I used our glass measuring cup) for two minutes OR add coffee grinds to a pot of water and boil them on the stove for 3 minutes.
  2. Pour the water/grinds through a filter with your coffee cup underneath to catch the goodness.

That’s it! You have coffee.

It is quite possible that this post seems too simple for you, and maybe you could have figured it out on your own if needed. But when I figured this out, let me tell you that I felt like a coffee ninja myself. ~ HYIAH!
